* December 15 - December 18 Kasuga Wakamiya Festival 12:30pm December 17 - The Great Procession The procession or 1,000 people in traditional costumes starts from the Prefectural Government Building, via the main street, moves to the Kasuga Wakamiya Shrine. The road in the festival area is closed to all vehicles on December 17. Guide arrows on major roads leads you to car parks in the suburban area.
